The MSM is blaming President Trump for the recent Immigration "raids" in 6 states. Thank goodness for the Internet. How quickly the liberal press forget we can be our own fact checkers. The Main Stream Media is playing a very dangerous game. By not reporting the true facts in an attempt to push their agenda, the MSM is sparking outrage that will result in violence.
What we know so far:
In Southern California, 161 were arrested. Of that 150 were scheduled to be picked up and deported before President Trump was sworn in. Of that 150, 75% were convicted of felonies or serious misdemeanors. The so called "raids" were planned 2-3 months ahead of time, under the administration of President Obama.
Of the remaining 11who were picked up, only 5 would not have been picked up under the Obama Administration rules. 5 out of 161!
We also know there was a similar "raid" in mid summer. There were four differences in that raid.
1. It was under the Obama Administration.
2. Very little if any news coverage.
3. More arrests were made.
4. No mass protests.

Why the difference? I think it is simply because President Obama was loved by the majority of the media, President Trump, despised by the majority of the media. The media and Immigration Rights groups have been whipping up mass hysteria and rage over this routine ICE action. Nothing good can come from that. Nothing.
Unlike many of my Conservative Peers, I have long advocated for common sense, compassionate Immigration Reform. Not Amnesty, but a pathway to a legal status for those illegal Immigrants, who have been here for years and been an asset to their communities and our country.
The liberal MSM, Liberal Sites like the Huffington Post, Think Progress, Immigration Rights Groups and Progressive Politicians acting in this manner make the likelihood of reasonable Immigration Reform much more difficult to achieve.
When I read something like this from The Huffington Post:

It simply makes me want to rethink my position on Immigration Reform. When I hear Illegal Immigrants on TV demanding the right to stay in this country, or holding up signs saying "This is my Country too." When I see Illegal Immigrants and their supporters protesting, blocking traffic etc. it makes me want to rethink. When I see progressive politicians having rallies and advocating criminal activity, it makes me want to rethink.
All theses actions are doing is splitting our country even more and making the likelihood of meaningful reform even less.
