As a Christian, as a Pastor, and as an American, I can't even begin to tell you how disgusted I was when the Democrats booed God and Israel at the DNC in Charlotte in 2012. I didn't think they could ever sink any lower. They are certainly trying.
The uproar over The First Lady reading The Lord's Prayer is absolutely disgusting. What kind of country have we become when The First Lady of The United States of America can be so viscously attacked for reading The Lord's Prayer?
I think what disturbs me the most are the people who say they are Christians, yet condemn her for reading it instead of reciting it. To me that is like Modern Day Pharisees. My question to those who fall into that category. Have you ever stood before 20,000 people, on live TV broadcast all over the world and tried to recite The Lord's Prayer? In front of a press core who would love to find something else to criticize you and your spouse over. Especially in a language different from your native language? As a Christian shouldn't you be encouraging her instead of condemning her?
Christians are taught no to do anything that may cause a Christian to stumble. When you criticize her for reading and preface it by saying you are a Christian aren't you taking that chance?

For those of you who aren't claiming to be Christian and just looking for something else to hate President Trump and his family for, you picked the wrong thing. You will never convince anyone to switch sides by being critical of someone saying or reading a prayer. All you do is make us more determined. I actually pity you.

Liberals please stop the hate. Your side lost. Its time to grow up and get over it.
