A Day Without Immigrants

    

Last week they were calling this protest "A Day Without Latinos" on Twitter. Now they have rolled it into the "A Day Without Immigrants" protest after so many legal Latino Immigrants complained of A Day Without Latinos being racist. It is.

If they wanted an honest name it wouldn't be either. It should be a Day Without Illegal Immigrants.

Why do illegal Immigrants and the Democrats believe Illegal Immigrants have a right to be in The US illegally?

I have long advocated for reasonable, comprehensive, and yes compassionate reform. Not Amnesty. Stunts like this, and the recent protests make it much more difficult to try and get reasonable people to back Immigration Reform.

Liberals from the far left are simply using this as one more thing to divide us even more. Look at some of the groups who are supporting the Day Without Immigrants protest among other protests. BAMN & La Raza among others. Both of which should be investigated for sedition.

Let The Lawsuits Begin

    

         

Get ready for the lawsuits. Dozens have already been filed over President Trump's Executive Order on immigration. The last count I heard was 41.

Even ultra liberal Harvard Law Professor, Alan Dershowitz has admitted at least parts of the Executive Order are Lawful.

"Sally Yates is a terrific public servant, but I think she's made a serious mistake here," Dershowitz said on CNN.

"There is also a distinction between what's constitutional, what's statutorily prohibited, what's bad policy — this is very bad policy — but what's lawful," he said. "I think by lumping them all together she has made a political decision rather than a legal one," he concluded, noting that he believed parts to be constitutional while other parts may not hold up under scrutiny.

I have watched several liberal Attorneys interviewed who also admitted the President has the legal authority for the Executive Order, even though they hate it. Why the 41 lawsuits if this is the case?

It is simply liberals who cannot come to the realization they are no longer in power. Their method for at least the next 4 years will be to waste tax payer funds defending lawsuits and filing them in activist Judges jurisdictions.

Make no mistake, these will be the first of many to follow. We can count on lawsuits due to EPA regulations being rolled back. Lawsuits on pipelines, oil exploration permits, anything the environmentalists don't like, whether they have legal standing or not.

We can also count on lawsuits from Sanctuary Cities, Teachers Unions, etc. Liberals are going to fight this President and his Administration on anything they attempt. It won't matter whether it is something our country needs or not.

The tremendous increase in donations to the ACLU after the immigration order was implemented is proof. After seeing the increase in donations because of filing the lawsuit we can be assured they will continue to file suit over anything and everything.

Another example is so many Tech Companies filing suit on the Immigration Order. Remember President Trump had them at the Whitehouse for a meeting about Internet Security and how he can help them grow their business and grow jobs in this country. They paid him back by banding together and filing suit over the Immigration Order. They were smart. They were able to get so many Tech Companies involved in the lawsuit, if you want to use a computer, get on the internet, buy a smart phone etc. you can't boycott them to change their behavior.

It is a shame, but it appears this rash of lawsuits will be the new normal.

The Super Bowl. Watch? Boycott?

    

This is a difficult decision for me. As a rule, I am against boycotts. I have always felt they hurt the employees who have no voice in decisions or comments made by senior management. I think all too often they punish the wrong people. The NFL boycott this year, and the Target Boycott are two of only a very few boycotts I have ever participated in. Most of the rest have been some individual Entertainers.

For me personally, my decision wasn't just based on Colin Kaepernick. He was simply the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. My decision to boycott the NFL came for a variety of reasons. The NFL players who decided to follow Colin and not stand for the Anthem.

Beyoncé's halftime "performance" last year. The players last year who participated in the "Hands up, Don't Shoot," lie even after it was proven it did not happen. The Baltimore Ravens football player Ray Rice knocking out his wife (then fiancee) Janay Palmer in an elevator.

Michael Vick, Terrence Cody, Prince Shembo,  and Dwight Jones. All for animal abuse charges.

From Jan. 1, 2012, to Sept. 17, 2014, 33 NFL players were arrested on charges involving domestic violence, battery, assault and murder. In the last two calendar years, at least 15 of those players were arrested for violence against women.

The list goes on and on. The NFL has a problem. The NFL doesn't seem to learn from all these incidents and so many more. They still draft College Players who had problems in College like Johnny Manziel.

At the same time these things are happening, the NFL at least threatened to fine players for wearing patriotic cleats. I don't know if the NFL followed through with the threats or if they didn't.  Different websites report they did, others they didn't. Either way it should have never been an issue.

I really would like to watch. I have missed being able to watch Julio Jones play this year. Still, sometimes you have to stand on principal. This is the biggest day of the year for the NFL. This could make up for the ratings slump this year. With great ratings for the Super Bowl, revenue rates will go up next year. Which means more money in their pocket. More rewarding bad behavior. As much as I would love to see Julio Jones excel tomorrow, I imagine I won't be watching.
